NOTICE OF EXECUTIVE BOARD ELECTIONS
CALL FOR NOMINATIONS FOR THE EXECUTIVE BOARD POSITIONS OF
President
Vice-President
Vice-President (Communications)
Vice-President (Finance)
Vice-President (Labour Relations)
Nominations from the members are requested to fill the Executive Board positions of President, Vice-President, Vice-President (Communications), Vice-President (Finance), Vice-President (Labour Relations) for a two-year term commencing June 2011 and ending in June 2013.
Nominations will open as of Wednesday, January 19, 2011
and close Friday, February 11, 2011 at 12:00 NOON
Each nominee is asked to provide a pen sketch of no more than two hundred (200) words by email. (Please note that candidates’ pen sketches will be printed as submitted.)
Details of each position are available for review on MUNACA’s website. I encourage any members who are considering running for a position to read what the position entails. You may review these details at www.munaca.com/node/223 as well as details found in the MUNACA By-Laws.
To be valid, nominations together with the pen sketches must be received by the Chief Returning Officer, MUNACA, 3483 Peel Street, no later than Friday, February 11, 2011 at 12:00 NOON. The Chief Returning Officer shall validate the nominations. A nomination form is attached for your convenience.
Only members in good standing of MUNACA (i.e. must have received their membership cards) can nominate, agree to run for the position, or vote in MUNACA Elections.
Each nomination form must be signed by at least 10 members. It is the candidate’s responsibility to ensure that nominations are made by members of the Association. If you have any questions concerning this or wish to verify your membership, please call the MUNACA office at 6565.
