The full details of the negotiations will be disclosed a few days before the General Assembly (to be scheduled), so that all members have the opportunity to read the draft collective agreement. At the General Assembly, you can raise your questions, hear the questions of others, and thus get a full understanding of the draft agreement. Sending details far in advance without accompanying explanations would cause even more confusion, as well as overwhelming the MUNACA office staff with questions.
Each job classification had one or more representatives on the Negotiation Committee to represent its interests: members need to trust that their rep has done so. Nothing will be finalized until the full membership agrees to it. Please take an interest in your union and your future working conditions by attending the General Assembly, hear all the details, and make up your minds before voting.
